Knicks looking to move up in the draft?

From Alan Han of Newsday:

Newsday reported in early June that#Knicks would look into moving up if possible. Rumors now surfacing about talks w/ IND (15), others.

This is a pretty thin draft, so the Knicks will have a pretty hard time finding an impact player with the 15th pick: right now, the players projected to go in that range are Klay Thompson, Alec Burks, and Markieff Morris. Still, the Knicks may have been the thinnest team in the league after they gutted their roster for Carmelo Anthony last season, so they could use all the help they can find in their rotation, especially with a young player. We’ll see whether or not they’ll be able to move up and find a role player to complement their core of Anthony and Stoudemire going forward.

trade your picks! – instead of wasting them on this weak draft class,

package a deal & get chris paul or make some moves…

Knicks are close… but no player they get in the draft this year will be that missing piece and put them over the top… ok maybe derrick williams or kyrie – but even them I dont think so…

    get CP3

Klay Thompson is the one player it makes sense for the Knicks to move up for. They’re in serious need of a shooter with Landry Fields being gun-shy after D’Antoni ruined his confidence in the 2nd half of the season and Toney Douglas being a first class chucker.

Klay Thompson would be a great addition for the Knicks… continue to add length and athleticism to the roster… if they added Thompson and a coach they could make some noise next year (but not a ton of noise until they add a bench)
