with that list of names Mike Woodson should start shopping for a house in Auburn Hills....but in reality it's time Dumars vacated his seat too! That team hasn't been relavant since Sheed left. Ben Wallace, Charlie V, not gonna get it done. Abandoning Chauncey for Stuckey hasn't worked out too well either. I like Bynum but really it's time to blow up the team. Rip & Tayshun still got some run left in them.

Honestly man, I don't hate Isiah. He definitely was one of the beastliest all-stars on the court during his time.

We all just think its great to laugh at the misfortunes that followed him when he worked for the Knicks. At least, that is the way I look at it.

Besides, I think there is always a chance for someone to be successful during thier second chances. Second chances are always deserved..

I think the article makes a good point. As long as the FO doesn't hand him the keys to all player decisions, he could do a great job focusing on coaching.

If Isiah Thomas is going to succeed anywhere at coaching for the rest of his life it is going to be in THE MOTOR CITY... not florida international or anything like that...

Detroit is the only place that still has love for him...they need a spark, he is a legend in that city...

I dunno I approve only because its that "home sweet home" type thing & because on the court I have infinite amount of respect for Isiah Thomas game - he was a beast...

I know the rest of ProBasketballTalk planet hates his guts, but after the John Kuester year, I dont know how it could get any worse & you are taking a risk with possibly high reward...

I think Isiah Thomas for everything he has been through, to come back and coach the Pistons back to greatness would be some kind of story...
