Small acts like that change lives; great story.

However, the best thing about the story is the feeling of authenticity – I’m inferring there was not an NBA C<3RES P.R. flak in sight. Those 30 or 40 minutes of quality time Mr. Wall spent with those kids will stay with them their entire lives. That is FANtastic

Obviously it’s very cool of him to do that…but does anyone else find it just a little bit ironic that John Wall was speaking at a SKILLS camp? I’m not trying to take away from this great piece of ambassadorship and would never suggest he not show up to an event like this; it’s just funny.

With the NFL lockout in full swing, and an NBA lockout looming, its refreshing to see pro athletes act in such a selfless manner.
