Then there is no way Phoenix has any chance to acquire Williams. Sorry, but the T-wolves hold the cards here and there is nothing else Phoenix has that interests the T-wolves. Nash is old, not washed up, but old. He is going to be moved this offseason, likely draft night. If it’s not the T-wolves than who? T-wolves have what the Suns want, Suns have what the Pups need.

Those guards are nothing to brag about. Sessions has his moments, Davis is old and over payed and Gibson is a 2 in a PG’s body.

It’s no lock that Irving goes #1 in my opinion. Williams is a MUCH better fit in Clev. I know Scott like’s PG’s etc, but they have Sessions, Davis, and I guess Gibson too, already. Oh, and no SF. I think they take Williams #1 (The Outcome) and the best-available #4.

No, no, no. The T-wolves have a veteran big in Darko. They want Kanter and that is no secret here in MN. Look for the T-wolves to discuss acquiring Steve Nash (Rubio respects Nash so it’s a natural fit for a mentor) if they are talking to Phoenix. They have no use for Lopez or Gortat.

even if the Wolves don’t trade that pick, take Williams anyways. On a team that had 17 wins last year, you pick the best player available reguardless of the position.

Williams’ potential notwithstanding, the Suns would be crazy to give up Marcin Gortat for anyone in this draft. Gortat’s game has come into its own since the trade. Sure, he’s not going to suddenly become an Olajuwon (or even a Dwight Howard, for that matter), but he’s a known quantity that’s getting better all the time. Robin Lopez? Sure…but I doubt even the T-Wolves are that dumb.

Marcin Gortat would be a steal for them. I don’t think I’d want to start Robin Lopez again if I were the Suns though.
