If your a Mavs fan like me...

The Good: Neither team played well, but Dallas showed they can D against Miami and hang with Miami.

The Bad: Barea and Stojakovic never showed up for work in Game 1. Terry at least hit early 3's. They will need to play better. Miami played poorly and still managed to win. While Dallas might play better in game 2, so will Miami. Also, Miami are winning this way consistently through playoffs... ugly.. that is big 3 plus one bench guy that steps up. Dallas MUST win tonight or its over. Its very hard to win 3 IAR even on your own home court.

The X-Factor: Refs are making bad calls against Dallas especially at end of game. The moving screen on Chandler. The foul on Dirk when he cleanly stripped the ball from Bosh. Thats a 2 turn over swing at the end of the game.

Miami was able to somehow wear down the young fast and athletic Bulls. Granted, Dallas has a much better offense than Chicago, but why shouldn't the same thing happen to them? They're older and slower. Then again, as I write this i'm imagining waterfalls of 3s from Terry and JKidd. Must-win for Dallas. They're not going to pull a reverse 2006.

The team(s) that gave Miami trouble during the regular season and the play-offs were able to punish them on the offensive glass. In the finals, Miami is punishing Dallas. This does not bode well and it goes beyond simply "boxing out" better.
