If he learns to make foul shots, he’ll get hammered less often, and would probably collect fewer technicals.

I have never seen a few hours get so overblown in my life. Dwight Howard literally worked with Hakeem for like 3 hours and it blew up into a huge story about how he was going to dominate on the offensive end this year. Dwight was improved this season offensively, mostly with his mid-range bank shot and general aggressiveness, but he seemed to have learned nothing from Hakeem.

Let’s put the Hakeem thing to rest. Olajuwon was the second most dominant center of all-time and certainly won’t be equaled by Dwight Howard.

With with “The Dream” is a good move on his part. He will never have the footwork of Hakeem, because that type of thing was ingrained in Hakeem at a young age from playing soccer. However, as the writer stated adding a few moves to the repertoire can only help his game.
