The NBA, fans not included, owes a great deal to the HEAT and the MAVS. After getting bounced in 96, Cuban and the Mavs have been patiently waiting to be finally rewarded the Trophy after a lot of investment in the Brand called the NBA. The HEAT on the other hand pulled off a modern day coup when they landed Bosh and Bron and had Sports fans all over the World talking about the NBA for months which helped raise the Brands stature which had been flat a year ago and also helped lift year over year revenues for the Brand and will rightfully want a return on the investment.

Will Stern ask Miami to allow the Mavs to win one, with the promise of several in the Future?
