Just a fantastic video from the people at the New York Times today, breaking down the history of the crossover dribble.

This is basically a documentary on the move, going back to Georgetown where Allen Iverson learned the move and tracing it forward to today and what Dwyane Wade and other do with the move.

It’s not short, but it’s eight minutes well spent. If for no other reason than to watch Iverson cross-up Michael Jordan.

Great little documentary for sure, I actually never saw the top backboard view of that AI on Jordan Cross so that was a bit shocking to me (in a good way). This vid just makes me miss AI a lot more and I wish they made this just a bit longer.
