The other part that has to be discomforting to Blazer fans is the fact that Allen and Company have failed to get along with two very different GMs. Pritchard was a former player with little experience prior to being thrust into the front office. Cho had been in the front office of teams since the 90s, never played, and has a law degree. So, Allen has failed to connect with either former players OR business guys. Personality conflicts happen, but they shouldn’t happen that often with candidates of your own choosing.

“This should be an ideal job. But some guys will not touch it now.” Exactly.
If it’s come down to “Mr. Allen and his GMs just don’t get along”, maybe Mr. Allen needs to look inward. KP did a great job. Cho brought in an instant perfect fit in Wallace. We’ve averaged 50 wins the past 3 seasons despite numerous major injuries. That doesn’t sound like a situation requiring a revolving door at GM.
I’m all in favor of an owner who cares and does what is necessary. Mr. Allen has spent much money on the Blazers. He wants to win. Maybe he needs to put “winning” above “having a beer w/ my GM”.
