Toronto have been much too lenient with letting him “play his role”. He is a 7 footer who settles for outside shots instead of camping out under the basket, taking high percentage shots, grabbing rebounds and putting back misses. Along with Lopez in NJ, he wastes his height like no one else in the league. If he drove to the basket, he could easily be a 20/10 man but he just doesn’t have the desire to do it. Based on his time in Toronto, I can’t see teams lining up to take on his contract (keep in mind that this guy was a number one draft pick as well!)

And as expected, he has released a statement clarifying his statement, saying how he loves Toronto and hopes to stay there and develop into a better player.
