Or it could be that he’s giving his honest thoughts about the Lakers that he has had for some time and while doing some PR stuff for the movie, the interviewers are asking about his relationship with the Lakers.

Also the idea that he wasn’t cool with the media or Buss, doesn’t mean he should be passed over, which he has. The Lakers have no intentions of doing one. If they did, they would have commissioned it when he battling cancer.

anyone see kareems interview with colbert? Completely winging that statement on jazz having anything to do with basketball. I liked it though! Give this man a statue ya bums, I think its more management taking advantage of what it seems to be a quiet mild mannered Kareem imo.

Lew Alcindor is such a whiner . Maybe he shouldn’t of been a complete tool to every player , coach , owner , and ref . Can anyone say karma ??? Hope he never gets his statue because of the way he is handling this .
