Smitheye, i dont really see your logic. beasley and williams coming out of college are basically identical. Williams shoots a higher percentage of three and has a bigger frame. I have been to many timberwolves game's and mr.beasley didn't overly impress me with his athleticism. Beasley deff can score and be athletic don't get me wrong but beasley at times looks very shaky at the 4 or 3. Regardless we are drafting irving or williams, you dont trade the top 2 picks regardless of if its a weak draft year.

I am sure Orlando may be intersted int he pick. But do they have enough assetts to trade for it? They definately can use a #4 like Williams. They need to do anything they can to keep Dwight!!

I'm from mn and to be honest I dont really understand what this dude is doing. we obviously need to take #Mr.Williams he is more athletic then beasley, Beasley has his issues from game to game. I dont see any harm with pushing beasley to the bench. If he wants to start he will put his heart where it should be. If not we have a combo forward who is vastly more athletic then every slouch on our #Twolves team. We can risk taking another point gaurd besides irving. I understand that if we could get a veteran point gaurd it would help but im not willing to give up #2 and johnny & webster for some old has been point gaurd and a project player.

How about Glen Davis and two No. 1s for the No. 2 overall this year? Fatso Davis has just about eaten himself out of the rotation and the Celtics have three No. 1s (including Clippers' No. 1 next year) over the next two years. Rivers coming back means the Celtics have no stomach for blowing up the team and starting over, but Derrick Williams could learn for a year until Garnett calls it quits, then move in. Boston gets younger, then Green and Williams could be at the 3 and 4 for the next half-decade. Still more holes to plug, but it's a start. Ainge could go looking for a 2-guard and another Perkins-type animal at center. Davis could get a fresh start in Minnesota, where depth is a huge problem, and Kahn gets his jollies by being more of a player in the 2012 draft.
