okc cant come back if they get down? are you kidding? game 2 they was down n came back and won and samething in game four okc was down by 13-14 you may need to watch basketball more and learn the sport a little bit better. dallas was 2-1 in reg season but that was BEFORE okc got perkins OKC is leading the playoffs in scoring and defense

I agree that Westbrook is going to be a difficult matchup for Dallas, but the Mavs’ execution, depth, and confidence is soaring right now which makes it hard for me to pick against them. They also have homecourt which, if Memphis had, might’ve been a different outcome. Either way, should be a great series. I also like the Mavs in 7.

I want the Mavericks to win–Dirk deserves a title as much as anyone in the league. But OKC just has too much talent. I shudder to think of what Westbrook will do to Dallas’ guards.

I just watched most of the OKC-Memphis series and found it hard to see how either team was going to match up against Dallas. The Thunder better get leads early because from what I saw, when they fall behind, Durant resorts to jacking up shots every time down the court and the rest of the team falls out of their game. I didn’t see much evidence that they have the poise and discipline that the Mavericks do.

I agree. The league thinks we should only have marquee teams left at this stage. However, the fans want something interesting and new blood creates that. As a Mav fan, I have all kinds of respect for OKC and have no doubts this will be a fight to the last minute. That’s the kind of series fans want to see. One thought, I wonder how Seattle fans feel now that their team is finally in the Western Conference finals but no longer their team. Got to be a hard pill to swallow.

Good piece and this should be fun to watch. It’s always good having new blood get this far while the Celtics and the lakers sit at home.
