Video: Taj Gibson was a highlight factory Sunday night

May 16, 2011, 12:30 PM EDT

Chicago Bulls' Taj Gibson celebrates after a basket against the Atlanta Hawks during Game 5 of their NBA Eastern Conference second round playoff basketball game in Chicago Reuters

We already showed you how the Bulls Taj Gibson was not very welcoming to Chicago native Dwyane Wade Sunday night.

But tat was not all Gibson did.

He also had the most spectacular of the 19 offensive rebounds the Bulls grabbed in Game 1, a thunderous putback for two. Another case of the Heat defense scrambling, nobody bothering to put a body on a guy sliding to the basket as the shot went up, another case of nobody helping the helper.

And Gibson can get up.

The Bulls had an outstanding first game. However, the Heat were out COACHED,which I noticed has not been mentioned. The Coach at best appears baffled and delayed. With the caliber of players that the HEAT has the franchise could have provided the team with a more seasoned coach, who can better read defense, plays and know how and when to make adjustments. I would suggest learning how to play “Chess” for the Coach of the HEAT! He is such a disservice to this team. Other coaches can see it and they take full advantage of the handicap!

When I pointed out that the Bulls have Miami’s 1st round pick this year a Heat fan claimed that unless a player is picked in the top 5 then he does not have much of a chance of contributing in the NBA.
That was a dumb comment to begin with but this makes it even better.

You don’t have to draft Michael Jordan, LeBron James or Kobe Bryant in the 1st round in order for a player to be a difference maker.
Every team needs players like Taj Gibson.

miami actaully has some dudes that are pretty decent that arent stars. chalmers and joel anthony. but some poeple think unless you have a deadly crossover and can dunk over two people that u dont matter to the team.

Bulls look good boy. That’s how bbal should be played. Heat need to stop crying about fouls, they got two of the best players in the world on the same team. They are a different team when they aint in Miami.
