My favorite part about all of this is that when he did this to Michael Beasley during the season I was super upset. Then one of the bloggers on here (not Kurt) came and said that his ejection with 6 minutes left in that game was penalty enough. Here is the direct quote "Bynum wasn’t suspended back then for the play on Wallace, and he shouldn’t receive a suspension now."

So to recap, Wallace spent time in the hospital for his foul, Beasley missed roughly a week until he was at full speed and fortunately Barea managed to escape uninjured. A total of 7 games suspended. He must be just as sorry as he was after the first suspension. Just read the remorse after that:

“I don’t think what I did was deserving of it. I don’t think I really did anything too wrong. It was unfortunate the guy fell the way he did and got hurt, but at the end of the day, sometimes, you know, fouls happen.”

I still hope he doesn't end up appealing the fine or suspension. If a player is going to apologize for their actions and say they take responsibility, but then appeal it because that's "standard protocol," fans tend to not believe a word they say. Here's hoping Bynum truly is sorry and takes his (lenient) punishment without trying to avoid it.
