Right now it looks as if the Bulls and the Heat will meet in the conference finals.
I remember last summer when the Heat signed all three of the “big three” – at that point Paxson went immediately to Plan B – build up the bench. From here it looks as if he did a pretty darn good job, and hopefully the upcoming series will show that maybe – just maybe – the exec of the year award was awarded prematurely to the wrong guy.

At least LA is out of it.
