Jerry West please!

The best thing happen to the Grizzlies was Jerry West leaving. He is an old example of an ol man who don't know when his day is gone.

Traded Pau Gasol, Shane Battier, and others all got better and even got rings.

The only thing Jerry did in Memphis was come to his box, drink wine all night and chase young girls. So please Jerry go home and play with your grandchildren. You had your day, let it go and shut the blank up! Memphis is doing much better without you and L.A. will do the same!

The Lakers are still a championship contender. As long as they have Kobe, they will be. Even as his athletic skills decline and begin to fail him, his competitiveness and fire and technical skills will allow him to continue to lead teams on playoff runs. Yes, they got completely exposed against Dallas- but remember, even with a team significantly below the level of the last three years, they made it to the 2nd round and won 57 games. They still have three very skilled 7 footers.

They do need some changes however. First off, the point guards will not cut it. I read an article on ESPN yesterday that said that by PER and WaRP, the Lakers' point guard rotation was the worst of any positional rotation on any team in the NBA this season. I'm not a big advanced stats guy, but I believe it. Fisher is still valuable off the bench because of his ability to move without the ball, his shooting skills and leadership qualities, but he cannot be the full-time starter anymore, especially not on the defensive end. Steve Blake was a failure of an experiment. I never thought I'd miss Farmar. But the Lakers need a new point guard badly. If we had Phil coming back, I would be open to throwing a flyer on a player like Sebastian Telfair, Jerryd Bayless or a Marcus Banks, guys who have the physical and technical skills to exceed, but he's not coming back. We don't know yet if Shaw has the motivational skills to make players live up to their potential like PJ did. So we're stuck going with a more convention route. It looks like our best bets will be making a trade. Maybe Chris Duhon? I'm not sure what our FA situation will be like. Does anyone know if we could make a run at a guy like TJ Ford?

Really dude? You're going back that far to pull a dig on Kobe? Kobe wasn't the one acting classless in that last game, in fact Kobe was the only one who noted anything of still being positive when Artest was punching, Odom was slamming, Bynum was elbowing, and Gasol was just missing shots.

As a Lakers fan, you take your wins and you take your losses and you do it in a more classy manner than the Lakers did in that last game and EVERYBODY is aware of that.
