Video: Watch Derrick Rose shred the Atlanta Hawks

What Derrick Rose did Friday night to the Atlanta Hawks is illegal in 14 states.

He showed why he was named MVP. He showed why the Hawks were always going to be in a lot of trouble in this series, because they had nobody who could stop Rose. (Well, that and the Hawks were going to struggle to score against the lock down Bulls defense.)

Rose put on a clinic Friday night and the Bulls took charge of the series. He he plays like this again Sunday and this series will be all but over.

I think he’s just giving credit where credit is due.

“He showed why he was named MVP”

Go back and read his beliefs about Dwight being the better choice.

        But I agree…

Watching Joe Johnson on the verge of crying on the bench was worth the price of admission alone.

He is only 22 years old and is just scratching the surface of how good he can be.
When his knowledge of the game starts to catch up with his physical skills it is going to be down right scary.

I saw the same thing happen to Jordan and Pippen.

Except in Rose’s case he’s actually grounded in reality and doesn’t look like he’s going to waste his time gambling and womanizing. How many rings will this guy have by the time he’s 30?

And we should point out, too, that Rose is lucky enough to have a coach that really knows how to let him excel.

In Game 1, Iso-Joe looked he had turned the corner and was ready to earn his $$$ in the 2nd round of the playoffs for once. Oh well.
