Maybe Kupchak could trade Pau Gasol back to Memphis and get his younger, tougher brother Mark to come play for the Lakers. Theo Ratliff was a total bust so he better be gone, too bad Mitch traded away Mbenga for this ancient piece of garbage. Also get rid of Joe Smith who didn’t do squat except pick up a paycheck he never earned. Luke Walton also needs to go so the Lakers can get a better, younger small forward. The Lakers have a good core, they need bench players who can contribute when they are needed to.

Go Mavericks??? Sort of off subject unless you fear the Lakers 3-peat and going for 4? Or you just want to see the Lakers core go away to make it easier for other teams in the Western Conference? Trails Blazers and others like the Thunder will be the teams of the immediate future regardless.
