Yes, because they play for a team that you don't like, they "deserve" to be robbed. Excellent logic.

I can't help but chuckle every time I read these types of stories, because I just don't understand why pro athletes need to travel with big wads of cash and lots of bling. When my wife and I travel internationally, we leave ALL of our jewelry and favorite clothes behind; that way if we get ripped off or held up we won't do something stupid like try to resist out of emotion. "Here; you want it? Take it"; and we travel with only one credit card, a couple hundred dollars (no more), in cash and travelers checks, again so that we literally have nothing worth fighting over losing.

My favorite all time such story though came after the Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl back in '85. As the team bus was making its' way through the streets of downtown Chicago from the airport (at a snails pace because of all of the people who had shown up), quick thinking gang bangers were running a firemans bucket brigade cleaning out all of the luggage under the bus! LOL!!! I laughed so hard when I heard that my sides split! The dummy driver hadn't even bothered to lock the luggage compartments underneath!
