Thibodeau deserves it, but i think denver’s George Karl and Philadelphia’s Doug Collins were able to do more with less this year, I would have given it to one of them.

Hate the Bulls, but this first year defensive-minded coach deserves it. Players love this guy, they loved him in Boston and gave him a lot of credit for the defense the Celtics put on there, and now he’s coaching the #1 ranked #1 defensive team in the league.

There were a few coaches who could’ve gotten the honor this year. Thibodeau did a hell of a job, congrats

Well deserved.

I’m glad he won it. He shot down all criticism when teams said he’ll always be a assistant. Than he ties the record for most wins by a rookie head coach, has the number 1 defensive team in the NBA, and works hard no matter what the situation is.
