I told you all! I told you this was all part of the plan and it was executed to perfection. The Lakers tanked a couple of games so that the Hornets would sit back a little and it worked! Now, on to the next round. I won't be surprised if they lay back for a couple of games there, too. Maybe they will make it a seven game series just to convince their opponent in the third round that they are weak.

Kobe and Phil are brilliant and they are working this ruse like masters. My Kobe Bryant Action Figure - Playoff Edition looks good with the little cape I made for it on. I flew Kobe around my parents' basement during the game and every time I did, Kobe played even better. I am going to keep that up for the next round.

Thanks to the Hornets for giving the Lakers a good tough 1st round series and playoff wakeup call. At least the Hornets, despite the loss of David West, showed up to play tough, so unlike the wimpy NY Knicks. I hope the Hornets get a good new owner who'll keep the team in New Orleans and find some good players to improve this gritty team.

I'm so looking forward to Air Kobe and championship gang wiping the smile off Mark Cuban's face as they trash his overly hyped Mavs team. As the saying goes "Be careful what you wish for for you may get it and it won't be what you expected". Well now Cuban has his wish to face the Lakers in the playoffs and he's going to find out his overpaid, overhyped team can't match up to the Repeat World Champion Lakers.

The Lakers are showing why they're the greatest team in the NBA, as every night they have someone new step up to support the world's greatest basketball player, Kobe Bryant. Andrew Bynum is showing that he's the best center playing in the playoffs and Ron Artest has shown he's ready again for another championship run. Pau finally woke up from his flu problem and Lamar Odom is showing why he's truly the best 6th man of the NBA. What a luxury to have a 6' 10" power forward who can play like a point guard, notice that he is the one bringing the ball up the court even when Kobe is in.

No one player can win a championship and the Lakers are proving they are the best team in the world. One series down and 3 more to go before the Repeat World Champion Lakers win their Threepeat this June!
