Fields definitely isn’t the type of player that would leak stuff like that to the press. Anyone who watched the Knicks all year knows that. Even D’Antoni said that’s reason. In fact, he said it happens to most rookies and he’s not concerned about it. I guess you know more than he does. And that poor locker room stuff is just nonsense. All year pre and post Melo the Knicks had a good locker room.

Stop hating on Melo. If the Nuggets never drafted him they would still be in the lottery all these years. He obviously wasn’t the sole cause of the Nuggets playoff struggles because they still lost in the first round. So stop pretending everything he touches turns to crap and move on.

Fields has been having the rumor mill about him not liking playing with Melo since 3 weeks after the trade. Without a good coach, and a good locker room enviorment I could see how a player could be lacking production in that regard.

Get rid of him, we don’t need him to win championships because he’ll never win a championship. He’s not an elite player, he is an ELITE SCORER. That’s all he is. Have you ever been do a Denver game during the Melo era? Probably not, however… all you’d hear is the damn crowd bickering that he doesn’t know how to play transition defense, take a charge, and hogs the ball…
