It’d have been much more noteworthy if Vogel had made that comment before Game 1. But at this point, what do you expect him to say: That the series is really already over but the NBA is making them play out the string?

is the news so slow that the media has to take everything the pacers say and blow it out of proportion? first it was trash talk when granger said if they slow down rose they have a better chance winning and it is trash talk when he said the celtics were a veteran team with championships. that is trash talk?then the coach says that if they win this game he thinks they will win the series and it’s bulletin board material? what is he suppose to say that they will lose the series even if they win tonight?get a grip people,no guarantees or boasts just guys saying what they believe without insulting anybody. again if the bulls need that kind of we believe in ourselves talk as motivation to win then they are not going very far should they beat the pacers tonight.
