Thanks for the obvious observation. Isn’t getting a ring the goal of all players? Isn’t trying to get one last ring before retire what ALL players try to do?

If shaq is ready for the Miami series, expect it to look a lot like the Knicks series. Boston is already loaded with talent and depth whereas miami has little talent to speak of outside of the big 3. On top of that, the big 3 are a shooting guard, a small forward, and an under-producing power forward who plays more like a small forward. Boston has 3 extremely good post players in shaq, Kevin Garnett, and Glen Davis. If they use them correctly, they can pound the Heat inside and they won’t be able to answer. Celtics in 5.

No point in even considering playing him against the Knicks. Need to just rest him and start to get anything you can out of him in the next round. Even if you’re just talking 15-20 minutes a game, anything helps.
