Tim Donaghy is the last person I want to hear from. That Suns/Spurs series will haunt the Phoenix Suns franchise forever. Besides the obvious point shaving going on with all those ridiculous foul calls against Amare, there was also the suspension. Amare gets suspended for leaving the bench during an altercation in a strict interpretation of the rules. In a not-so-strict interpretation of the rules Tim Duncan and another Spur (either Ginobili or Parker) left the bench when a San Antonio player got upended and fouled hard. Why weren't they also suspended after that fateful game? Because the NBA decided it wasn't enough of an altercation and wanted the Spurs to advance.
