I watched Adelman beat our Grizzlies every year with a team of second stringers. They got after you, knew what they were about. I can’t believe that he’ll be without a job for very long. If Hollins weren’t so successful, I’d want him here.

I don’t understand what upper mgmt. is so unhappy with. He inherited a team with two hall of famers and won. Of the two hall of famers, one broke (Yao) physically and the other broke (McGrady) physically & mentally, and Rick won with what he had. They put together a team with a good young neucleas (sic) with the potential to add 1 or 2 pieces and come up with a championship contender. Truthfully I believe that upper mgmt. just $h_t in their nest, or theyhave no faith in the talent they have and are going to make Rick the scape goat for their up and coming season. This next season, good or bad, cannot be blamed on Rick Addleman, but falls squarely on the shoulders of upper mgmt!!!!!!!!

Good coach! He had some tough breaks or at least his players did. When he signed on, his roster looked great on paper but that injury bug got him. I think that he actually did more with less overall talent (Yao and McGrady not included due to injuries) then most coaches would have. I wonder how he would fit as the coach of the Magic? Gundy is overrated in Orlando!
