Video: Derrick Rose carving up the Indiana Pacers

Apr 17, 2011, 8:15 AM EDT

Chicago Bulls' Rose passes ball around Indiana Pacers' Hibbert during Game 1 of their NBA Eastern Conference first round playoff basketball game in Chicago Reuters

The Pacers seemed to knock down every outside shot they took.

Yet that was not enough because Derrick Rose went MVP on them. Part of the fun of him is not just the scoring but how he gets there.

Oh, just watch for yourself.

Yeah, the Pacers simply had NO answer for D-Rose.

What’s funny is they pretty much handled everyone else on the Bulls besides him, they didn’t even follow on their media-given game plan. Stoping the MVP is easier said than done.

I’m not a Bulls or a Pacers fan, but by the 2nd quarter you know who was going to win because of the foul calls.

I would have been shocked if the Pacers would have won, even though they played better than the bulls.

Derrick Rose shot more free throws than the entire pacers team.

That’s what happens when you shoot jumpers the entire game and let the other team’s point guard into the lane whenever he wants.

And then whack him in the head and actually expect to get away with it.
