Funny, kobe action figure huh? On a serious note, please don't be surprised if the thunder ends up in the finals. Trade marking now!!!! Thunder 3? 2 streaks of lighting in Durant and Westbrook and the thunder sound in Perkins.

Can we hear your thoughts on the Kennedy assassination and 9/11?

I have broken out my "Kobe Action Figure - Playoffs Edition." I can now use my "Kobe Bryant All-Star" lunch box. I am wearing my LA Lakers underoos (the ones with the trap door in the back for emergencies). Bring on the PLAYOFFS!

I think the whole 'nother gear in the playoffs observation has been overstated. Weeding out the least consistent teams for a mini-season is bound to produce a higher quality of play; that coupled with the desperation to win at all costs will undoubtedly produce - desperation. But one need look no further than last year's deciding game in the finals to see that that "extra gear" can lead to some pretty uninspiring offense, stellar defensive play notwithstanding.

I'm rooting for the Lakers, but this idea that the Bulls are going to have to raise their level is incorrect. The other teams are going to have to change gear to meet their level. Chicago has the best record because they have played that way all season long. A mere 20 losses, and no more than two-in-a-row. All they have to do is keep that up for the next twenty-five games or so - and they'll do what nobody imagined they would ever be able to do again, after the three-timers were dismantled before they had defended their second title. If they do anything but win, I'll blame fate, not a faulty transmission.
