They only have to beat Bulls, who I’m still skeptical about, due their lack of a solid #2 Scorer. Then beat either Heat or Celtics which I feel with Howard Magic would be a tough out in Conf. Let me just say this, it was amazing. The entire city was basketball-crazed, I’ve never seen anything like it.

I realize that the author of this blog is a big Lakers fan, so he’ll never understand what it’s like to live in a city with one pro sports team that the city supports no matter what, but there’s a remarkable amount of cynicism in the above article. It’s pretty sad actually.
