This is how you defend the rim.

We keep telling you that in today’s NBA — with no handchecking on the perimeter — you have to have a guy who can protect the rim. Exactly like this. JaVale McGee is textbook on Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

Not that it helped the Wizards in this case, they were toast once John Wall got tossed for throwing a punch, but you get the idea. Plus, this is just fun to watch.

Bosh has to be the clumsiest guy in SoFla sports history. He’s ALWAYS falling on the floor.

hey JaVale…stare down all you want…your team still sux and you still lost the game. Oh, and you won’t be making the playoffs anytime soon either.

Man..how good would the Heat be with McGee as their starting player?

If the Heat don’t win it all this season..they have to spend everything they’ve got on a centre. In the end, PG’s and backup shooters don’t matter at all. Those guys aren’t creating any offense and are not good defenders either.
I would get a shot-blocking presence at the rim (easier said than done) and let a bunch of tough D-Leaguers vie for the PG. Make the Heat into a tough, scrappy team. I understand that they’d be a poor outside shooting team, but I’m happy to take my bets on Wade and Lebron providing enough offense if they can hold their opponents to 90 points or less/
