Heat’s Anthony breaks nose in two places, will not miss time

Mar 23, 2011, 1:27 PM EDT

Joel Anthony thinks he’s a hockey player.

The Heat’s shot blocking center off the bench (the Heat have about 48 centers on the bench at last count) broke his nose in two when Miami faced Atlanta after being head-butted by Zaza Pachulia, reports Michael Wallace of ESPN on twitter. Pachulia head butted Wallace and caused the injuries.

But Anthony is not going to miss any time.

He will be sporting the Rip Hamilton look — a protective mask — but he will be on the court when the Heat face the Pistons Wednesday night.

“Pachulia head butted Wallace and caused the injuries”

If you are going to rush to put such a stupid story on the internet, at least edit your post once.

I don’t think a guy who was stabbed in the face, neck and back (then went on to average 25 a game) needs to go to Canada to get tough. People who are not Celtics fans can mock his dramatics sometimes, but you really can’t knock his toughness.

So Pachulia head butted Anthony and broke his nose….then after the game sought out reporter Michael Wallace and broke his nose too? Pachulia is a bad-ass mf’er!!!!
