In New York, Raymond Felton was the man. Well, Amar’e Stoudemire was THE MAN, but Raymond Felton was the deputy. He was the point guard who was making Mike D’Antoni’s system work.

In Denver, Felton is coming off the bench. Ty Lawson is the future, Felton is the other guy.

Winning doesn’t really cure all ills in the NBA, but it does keep guys quiet. So you don’t hear Felton complaining about his situation. But Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld reports he wouldn’t mind being moved this summer (via Hoopshype).

Raymond Felton and his camp have made it very clear that he’s not happy coming off of the bench, and he would likely be voicing his displeasure more if it weren’t for the team’s success.

“It’s working so far. It’s something that I can’t say I’m comfortable with, but at the same time, we’re winning so why say anything? Why complain? Just play ball,” Felton told HOOPSWORLD.

The veteran point guard has even hinted that he’ll force a trade out of Denver this offseason, saying that the situation will be resolved this summer despite the fact that he has one more year on his contract. He feels like this is Ty Lawson’s team and he’s not ready to become a reserve.

“It’s just one of those things where if this is where he’s going to be [long term], then we’ll see this summer where I might be,” Felton said.

There was a lot of talk about the Nuggets moving Felton after the Carmelo Anthony trade in a quick swap, but nothing materialized. What Denver has put together is working right now, but they are looking for the long term. If they can get assets they want, they’ll move Felton. He can get his wish in the off-season, there is demand for quality point guards.

But if he makes a public case of it, demanding his way out, suddenly teams are lowballing Denver. Then they decide not to make a move.

Which is to say, he may be unhappy but win or lose Felton’s best play may be to be a good teammate and work everything quietly.

it is truth New York Knicks is missing something it’s to bad that you have been in ny for 6 months and the New York Knicks could not see that you have been the final piece we just needed. Don’t get me wrong i do love Knowing that Carmelo Antony is in New York Knicks but remember whats the use of having a good car in a race without a good driver……. i think just the fact you want to be in New York gives you the desire to prove the WORLD New York Knicks can Make it Any Where In the other end Chancy Billups is playing good but does not have that spark or desire to prove a point… Raymond Felton in New York Knicks you are the Heart of the Team…. Felton and even though nuggets is a better team than New York Knicks and you admit it 20 times you know New York FAN WANTS YOU, Knicks might not admit it BUT THEY ALSO WANT YOU so don’t be stupid and offend us like that because you in new york Knicks is like Family…. Come Back and Even if you don’t tweet just like you said make something official that you want to come back to the Knicks be the Bigger Man and take are apology not for granted know that no one is perfect and anyone can make mistake and yes even if is the biggest mistake including you in the trade they know that doing that was a mistake but remember this nothing that was done is personal just business. But guarantee you this 20 times if you do decide to come back to THE NEW YORK KNICKS they wont make that mistake again SO PLEASE MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU WANT TO COME BACK FOR THE KNICKSSSSSSSSSSS and you will see another melo drama But this time it will be the Felton Drama… FELTON of all poit gard you are # 1
they are saying Knicks going to get chris paul but make it clear don’t be surprise when they are fixing all the paper work to bring you back
