Q1, MIL 32, Nyk 9
Q2, MIL 15, Nyk 32
Half-time Score: MIL 47, Nyk 41

After falling behind by as many as 23 points, if the Knicks can steady themselves and then complete a rousing comeback against an offensively-challenged outfit like the Bucks late in the game, it can be a catalyst for much improved play from their team for the balance of the regular season.

PS. I originally had New York to win this game outright when the wagering line was listed as Nyk -125. When the Knicks fell behind by 19 points in the 1st quarter, the in-game wagering line shifted to Nyk +9.5/+103. At an over-inflated number like that, it was just too good to pass up. Cheers :-)

He was this way at Syracuse and with Denver. The Knicks are going to find out and eventually get upset that they let some assets get away for this guy. He clearly is a prima Dona and has trouble playing in a controlled system. This trade is going to come back and haunt the Knicks. Melo is a ball killer and slows the offense. He is a tremendous offensive player, but he needs the ball in his hands and it kills the rest of the team because they get caught Melo watching. It’s going to interesting to see how Amare takes to this because he knows the system and has been a model of consistency this year. Stay tuned for Melo drama part deux, when he ask to be traded to Chicago!
