Blake Griffin’s trio of slam dunks

Blake Griffin was flying high and throwing it down with authority again Saturday afternoon at Staples Center.

We’re not going to hold it against him that the dunks came against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They still count.

And you NCAA fans can imagine how good Oklahoma would be if Blake Griffin were in his senior season this year (which is what he would be).

“…Can you ncaa fans imagine how good Oklahoma would be if Griffin were in his senior season?”

Nah, you don’t get to double dip between the two glorys. You can revisit the past if you want to.

Speculating on what cannot be is fantasy, disrespectful to college ball, try living with the reality the player went pro and all that college hoop dreams is over.

This player Griffin made the choice, signed the contract, gets paid handsomely, nothing wrong with that.

I seen a lot of NBA dunk machines come and go make a big splash, but not for longevity, because the physical toll caught up to them all to fast. History is littered with dunkers that more often than not are an after thought or even forgotten.

People remember the players that made their teams great, that brought winning, and championships and ultimately tradition a lot more than many celebrated dunkers.

My fondest memories are of the shooters that were so good they left an impression of flawlessness.
These guys shot balls every day before the rooster crowed or the cows were milked.
