Video: Toney Douglass goes downtown

Mar 18, 2011, 8:15 AM EDT

Memphis Grizzlies v New York Knicks AP

The Knicks’ Toney Douglas was channeling Downtown Freddie Brown, or Petula Clark, or somebody, but he was dialed in from downtown Thursday.

He had five three pointers in the first half, was 9-of-12 from three total and helped lead the Knicks to a franchise record 20 three pointers on the night.

And you thought Douglass was only getting minutes to cover the bad defensive players around him on the Knicks perimeter.

he was dropping them. their offense definitely outscored because once again i didnt see any serious defensive moments. but good offensive win on their behalf!

Thats the offense, its jump shots all day (except when Amare’s puts it on the floor and picks up his usual 3 offensive charges in the first half)

When they go down they look great, when they don’t they get blown out.

The discoordination and movement on O and D is still pathetic.

I don’t know how it’s hard for them to get the coordination going too. Three all-stars should be able to get it, but they don’t.
