I didn't see the Lakers handle the Mavs "with ease." It was a competitive game until the last minute. It was one of those games where the Mavs just couldn't get over the hump and make the timely shot or timely stop that they needed.

Kurt, you don't seem to share the same concern that the Spurs were manhandled by the Lakers much more than the Mavs were. You still have the Spurs at #1. One game is not indicative of a series. Injuries, matchups, adjustments from game to game, etc. factor into a playoff series. Not saying I would pick Dallas to beat LA, but remember when the Lakers got tossed around not long ago by Dallas and everyone was saying LA was in trouble.

I generally disagree with him whenever he writes something associated with the city of Chicago.

I do want to point out one thing, why is everyone giving credit to the Heat for beating the Grizzlies? A team assembled with LeBron, Wade, and Bosh is getting an awful lot of credit for beating a Memphis squad. Sure, the Grizz are a fine team, but not a championship worthy team like the 3 stars proclaim to be.

LeBron should of just stayed in Cleveland, Wade should of signed with Chicago, and Bosh should of went back to Jurassic Park.
