It blows my mind to hear Jeff Van Gundy and Chris Webber rate teams based on points-per-game.

As for this game; it’s funny how when I flipped NBA TV on last night I saw the 75-48 score and thought, “It wouldn’t surprise me if this was a 4th quarter score. Sure enough there were 4 minutes left in the game. I have a lot of respect for Scott Skiles defense but come on, man! Teach your team some offense.

Perkins played 13 games for them and Shaq, when he’s actually played, averages 20 minutes per game. Those two players didn’t make or break their defense. How can you say “Remember those numbers Boston fans who think that you defense is back.” It never went anywhere!
