basically, i was making a joke stating kobe should have added something about how they don’t care what happens before the all-star break judging by their attitude, etc… With the playoffs on the horizon, they, the Lakers and the Heat and really every team, should care a lot more about how they play.

Okay, your punctuation confused me a little there. Are you saying the Lakers didn’t care about losing earlier in the year, and now that its crunch time they care?

Because thats right… but you just didn’t make sense.

At some point, how long do you give the Heat to “figure things out”? They only have 18 games left in the regular season. Perhaps it’s not figuring things out that is the problem, but that their holes have been exploited. They can’t get the ball inside at the end of games, their PG play is erratic and exploitable, they get no bench support, and there may never be a clear go-to guy at the end of games. Difficult to see how you “figure that out.”

Perhaps it’s also true that other teams are just better than them. They’re obviously good enough to win some games, but against the elite teams, the sum of their parts is not as good.

kobe should have added, “well, to be honest, before the all-star break…we really don’t care about any losing streak.” of course, i kid, but the point is the Laker’s streak happened when there was A LOT of basketball to be played. now, we are heading to crunch time soon.

No matter how much I dislike the Lakers and thier winning ways… they know whats up. Kobe said it best… no need to say more.
