How important does that Troy Murphy signing suddenly become? There’s still enough depth to give Big Baby some rest. They need him. Shaq should be back in a week.

Dude’s tough and he didn’t seem to be grimacing with pain the way Perkins was last year. I can’t imagine it’s anything too serious that will keep him out very long. Even without Big Baby, they SHOULD cruise into the 2nd round.

This could be catastrophic for the Celtics. Two weeks ago they had their usual strong big man rotation of Perkins, Glen Davis & Kevin Garnett. Now they’re looking at Nenad Krstic, Jeff Green and Troy Murphy. Forboooooooode!

I wonder what must have been going through Danny Ainge’s mind when he saw Davis go down? I wonder if he has any regrets of sending Perkins packing to Oklahoma? Having to depend on the two fragile O’Neals down the stretch could turn many a Celtic fan’s stomach into knots. Please pass that man some antacid!
