He’s gonna have to do a lot more than Gene Chizik. Chizik only had to give $180,000 to Cam Newton. Dwight is gonna want more than that.

Maybe because Deron and the Nets can’t legally talk about an Extentsion UNTIL JULY.
So no matter what happens the rest of the year, they can’t mention anything about an Extension UNTIL JULY

Agreed, but it’s easier said than done. There is a delicate balance between adding talent and making a desperate move to keep your superstar(see Antawn Jamison).

Nets need to make a move to make him want to stay with them. They aren’t missing much to give them a great starting lineup. With him and Lopez on the court this maybe an enticing place for a great swingman to call home. I say sign more talent to make Williams want to call this place home.
