ya know what would help the knicks? a young, affordable, athletic center who can run, wont clog the lane and grab the occassional rebound. hey, is that mozgov kid available?
nice job denver. maybe dolan should watch some of those over night poker shows. he can be on the phone at 2am as isiah takes his meds.

I think we also need to mention how well the Bucks play defense. The fact that the Knicks scored so well vs a strong defensive team just echoes a point I made in a previous post. Although New York’s defense is suspect (as we al know) when they play vs the top defenses in the league they almost always manage to shine. Vs Milwaukee they shot a TS% of 61.7!!!!! New York’s average is 55.9! Nate Silver wrote an interesting article on how Carmelo’s shooting results in a higher TS% for his teammates, and obviously there is reason to believe his thinking. Also, while you say Melo’s shooting is what Knicks fans can expect, you also failed to look at his rebounding. 10 rebounds from the SF position is always a huge plus. Clearly everyone is focused on Carmelo’s shooting and lack of defense, but somehow most writers and analyst always overlook his rebounding, which is sad considering his rebounding is one of the biggest assets he brings to New York.
