This was a steal for the Bulls.
James Johnson was doing nothing here in Chicago and the Bulls other 1st round pick from that draft (Taj Gibson) has worked out very well.
To get a 1st round pick in return, even a low 1st rounder, was great move.

I would think this pick would be heading straight to Cleveland for Anthony Parker. I know Rose fell into Paxson's (or Gar's I suppose) lap, but this is a pretty impressive group he's put together and he deserves a lot of the credit.

Agreed.
Colangelo came into one of the most promising young teams in 2006, with an up and coming superstar and the number one overall pick, with some good pieces around.
In 4 years, there's been nothing but bad moves and disappointment.

Looking at the way the Nuggets made out like bandits with the Anthony move, it pisses me off even more that the Raptors didn't get anything for Bosh. At least with Cleveland, you can argue that it was worth waiting to see what Lebron would do.
But everyone knew that Bosh was leaving. How could they let him leave for nothing? Colangelo should be remembered as trigger happy and an over-reacher. Just has a poor, poor vision and bad penchant for evaluating basketball talent.
