You obviously don’t understand the meaning “home-court”. If the game was in Chicago, believe me, d. rose would take plenty of shots…if it was in oklahoma, k. durant would take tons of shots., etc…kobe had a built-in advantage for MVP. did Lebron deserve it as well? sure…but it was more about Kobe especially in front of the home crowd.

I do like the other guy’s (secdominance) comment that a shared MVP would have been good.

Tell me, what have the Heat done so far? NOTHING!!!!! and if you say they have an impressive REGULAR season record, you don’t know jack about the NBA. the REAL season does not begin till April/May…my fish friend. and just mentioning the Knicks is just ridiculous. okay, sure the bulls are decent but the knicks? the knicks are still a couple tiers away from being an elite team. getting Melo does not make them instant title contenders.

As far as loses go in February…yeah, they lost to the cavs…sure. but i don’t think they cared because it was FEBRUARY! jezuz!

Funny how Kobe/Lakers haters want to quickly dismiss recent history. IF the Lakers win this year…the haters will THAN say, “oohhh..okay, yeah, 3 years in a row…so what. they will lose next year!, blah, blah, blah!”

What does the game being in LA have anything to do with why he was taking all of the shots? Just because it is in his hometown he should get first dibs on MVP of the game? and WHO sounds STUPID? Lakers are back to back champions but now with the Heat rebuilding, the Bulls, and the Knicks there is no way Lakers win this year.

are you kidding me? dude…that is stupid. your comment even states the Lakers are Back to Back Champions. so…lets just go with this…you’re saying if the Lakers don’t win it this year, kobe and the Lakers suck? Huh…bet you said the same thing the past couple years.

This is an All Star game. Its always about highlights and showboating. of course kobe was going to take a lot of shots…he was hosting the damn thing in his building!

Lebron should have gotten at least co-MVP. He was playing so hard and for a long time no one was helping him out. I mean Dwight Howard and pretty much every Celtic was useless.

When was the last time Kobe played that hard? Last year’s Finals? If he would have played that hard they wouldn’t have lost 3 straight games going into the break

Lebron James should have won it. Only the 2nd time (behind Jordan) that any player has had a triple double in the All Star game. To me that is more impressive than someone who put up 39 points (mainly due to the fact that he was trying to be a one man team).
