You guys gotta remember what the business culture is like in Russia. It looked like he was bending over backwards to get this deal done before, which comes off as weak. Now he gets to spin it like it’s a competitive move to make the Knicks pay as much as possible. Very clever. I don’t think there’s any doubt Carmelo picks the Knicks. My only question is why. I personally would have pushed for a trade to the Bulls. His situation in New York can’t be better than it is in Denver. He was closer to winning a championship there a couple of years ago.
