“There is no more rebuilding. There are no more wholesale changes. I like a lot of players on the team and I expect them to be here a long time.”

– Timberwolves General Manager David Kahn on the state of the team. The Timberwolves’ young core of players currently consists of two undersized power forwards (one of whom is an All-Star), two point guards (one of whom is in Spain), and three swingmen. Minnesota’s record is currently 13-43.

Trading for Beasley was a good move but not one that makes up for giving away Al Jefferson while resigning Darko. Disgrace. And for the cherry-on-top he told Chris Webber that Darko Milicic had his skills! Are you effing kidding me!!??!?! I was glad to see C-Webb put Kahn in his place after that nonsense.

oh boy, kahnnnny what are you on dude? i’ve supported you since day 1…i like every move you’ve done and yes getting rid of al jefferson was a good idea…have you seen how much D he plays? oh man he’s first team all defense for sure…anyway kahn is smoking some of that michael beasly stuff if he thinks its done, yes love and beasly are very good but darko, flynn, brewer are not answers and as the season goes on i wonder about wes…you have lots to do yet kahn

Kevin Love is 6’10” and is undersized? Is that what the NBA is coming to? I find that hard to believe. I think he is merely stating that no more shipping off 3 players to another team and all that garbage. I think it is time to find out what we got on the roster, keep drafting players, and letting the ones who don’t work walk. Maybe a pick up here or there.

love is not 6’10”. he’s 6’7″, maybe 6’8″. they LIST him at 6’10”. and he IS undersized for guarding taller, power forwards. and slow for guarding quicker ones. look how aldridge dominates kevin love. love gets his stats (stats he wouldn’t come close to getting on a good team), but he also gets majorly outplayed by a third of the power forwards in the league.

How come people keep saying he wouldn’t get those stats if he were on a better team? REALLY?!?! If he were on a better team, he wouldn’t get guarded as closely. If he played with a good poing guard or even a half descent point guard, he would be even better. Nobody on that team is as consistent as him. What is Aldridge? 7’0” – 7’1″? Aldridge has also been outplaying almost anyone he’s gone against this year, so throw that crap out the window.
