Prokhorov said, okay, we’re out of the fiasco. Then likely told his GM not to stop being in communication with Denver. He made his “public ploy” to show he was willing to walk, and the message got delivered loud and clear. The most basic rules of business negotiations: know what you’re willing to give, know what your limits are, and be willing to walk away if the limit gets exceeded. Prokhorov didn’t become a billionaire by being stupid.
