All I know is Dan Gilbert guaranteed the Cavaliers would win a title before LeBron and the Heat. I’m thinking Spurs-Cavs in the Finals. Has to work out that way. Gilbert said so. (If by some strange chance the Cavs don’t make it, Dan, I at least hope you’ll make another cartoon video that gets shown during the Finals. It worked so well when it came to retaining LeBron.) Too bad, too. I wanted the Bulls to get there. Darn…

finally someone is making sense…ive been saying Spurs v Celtics since week 1…i would like for the Celtics to get revenge for the last two tainted years, but we need to be realistic…Lakers are done, and would have never even been, if it werent for Celts injuries…Cs will win it all

hnirobert3, how exactly are you grading these teams as boring? Both the Spurs and Celts have consistently been at or near the top in offensive efficiency all year, and the Spurs have a faster offensive pace than any of the other top 8 teams on this list (Observe possessions per 48 min). And who cares about a storyline? “Storylines” are just a gimmick to boost ratings among non-fans who otherwise might not tune in. Any fans of flawless team-oriented basketball would love a Spurs/Celts finals match-up, because like it’s pointed out here, no other teams are playing anywhere close to the level they are. If you want a highlight-reel game void of defense and strategy, watch the all-star game.
