Props to Moore, he certainly provided fuel to all the Kobe haters. If one was watching the whole game, one could easily determine that the rest of the team clearly was on spectator mode. Pau was non factor shooting 5-13, Artest 1-10, etc. We are witness to one of the best players to ever play the game.

haha! very nice! hey, we all love sports here. i’m just defending my Lakers, in particular, Kobe. does he have flaws? absolutely. but just wanted to say he is still one of the best on the court.
I have no problem giving credit to the great ones…the celtics for example, phil jackson said, are the best team in the nba, he is right. i only pray we get to meet them in the finals again.

The Lakers have not played any defense in the last 10 years. They need to get rid of some of the dead weight on this team. Andrew Bynum has shown year after year he is not a team player. The Lakers wanted him to have surgery the day the season ended but he said he wanted to go on vacation so he waited till the week before the next season started. Dump him. Ron Artest got the ring he wanted and now has stopped playing. Luke Walton , like his dad , should not even be in the NBA. He gets $6 million for doing nothing. When he does play it’s one bonehead move after another. The addition of the new players has upset the chemistry. Kobe is still the best in the league.

my Lakers got trounced by the C’s last night. the C’s are a great team and i look forward to seeing them in the playoffs…if we can get past the spurs…but i have confidence we have a great chance.

Lakers fans are the worst fans, next to my fellow Heat fans since most of them weren’t even fans prior to LBJ coming.

He has 5 rings… yes… but Wade would have 5 rings if he played with Shaq in his prime. LBJ would have 5 rings if he played with Shaq in his prime. Piece would have 5 rings if he played with Shaq in his prime. ETC ETC ETC.

I’m not discrediting Kobe or his talent, but let’s be a little realistic. If it’s not for Perkins’ knee and crazy Artest, they don’t win last year because Kobe was horrific in game 7. And if it’s not for Shaq in his prime they don’t win that initial three peat.

yeah…yeah…his shortcomings…right…the dude has 5 rings! jezuz!
(laker fan here)…wow? fox and horry are future HoFs? I love those guys but don’t think that’s the case. of course teammates bash each other…what’s new?
the past 3 years…i hear people trash the lakers…yes, this game, they fell apart but i’ll watch with more intensity come playoff time where they happen to get stuff done. i mean…they are the 2 time defending champs.

This dude (Kobe ) has been an UNEDUCATED BALL HAWK his entire career ! There are countless future Hall Of Famers that have spoken of it ( Malone, Payton, Fox, Horry, Shaq ) ….Phil even spoke of it in his book.
So, to constantly attempt to deflect his short comings and how he is nothing other than a volume shooter and a detriment to any ” TEAM COHESION ” is mis-stating the facts.

The thing you have to be concerned with for the Lakers is that they’re not beating great teams. They’re not going to have homecourt advantage against the Spurs and probably not against Boston if both should advance. Boston is deep and playing at a higher level than last year.
