I also feel strongly that the Russian is PO’d at Billy King for allowing himself to get pushed around. He knows that his other business associates and employees are watching this and he can’t afford to look like a shmuck.

It really comes down to a game of chicken with Denver and Melo. Neither can afford to go past the Feb deadline. Who will blink first?

Then again, I’m biased as a Knicks fan.

And I would love to know what CA’s agents/advisors are telling him about the true risk of waiting ’til the summer. That’s a big part of this and various media outlets have different opinions on that.
